At The Johnson Center for Health, we love the magic of the holidays and embrace the spirit of love and giving. That’s why we’ve curated a few healthy and sustainable gift ideas to help you and your family and friends stay fit and happy. Let’s explore some options to help you spread good cheer this season in the spirit of holistic wellness.
Dry Farms Wine
Sustainably grown on small, biodiverse family farms throughout Europe, Dry Farms Wine’s organic wines are free of sugars, additives and GMOs. This year, send the gift of pure Natural Wines with a one-time holiday gift box. Vegan, keto and paleo-friendly, 3 or 6 bottles of curated reds, whites, sparkling and mixed selections of natural wines make the perfect gift for your loved ones or holiday gatherings. Enjoy an extra bottle of pure natural wine for a penny with your first membership order.
Raum Goods
Raum Goods is on a quest to connect people back to Mother Earth. Their team of artisan cobblers in South Turkey–over 10% of whom are Syrian refugees– make an ethically sourced Earthing shoe from all-natural materials.
Earthing shoes are a type of soft-soled shoe claimed to connect the wearer to the earth's electromagnetic field, helping to restore your body’s natural electrical current. This connection, known as "Earthing" or "grounding," is said to usher electrons from the ground into the body. These electrons proceed to neutralize free radicals, which end up in our cells thanks to our toxic diet and environment and wreak havoc in the form of inflammation, autoimmune and endocrine issues, chronic disease, and so much more. While it’s impossible to avoid potentially disruptive electromagnetic fields, grounding to Earth’s energy will help to restore your body’s natural electrical current.

Annmarie Skin Care
Annmarie Skin Care is my absolute favorite skincare line that I’ve been using for over ten years. Annmarie curates organic and wildcrafted ingredients from herbs to high-vibration plant extracts that meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness for your skin and body. These herbs are infused with organic aloe vera and skin nutritive oils at low heat. Learn more about their process here. They offer trial kits if you are not sure what to purchase.
Natural Sloth Candles
Almost all candles contain phthalates which are endocrine disruptors and toxic to your system. However, all Natural Sloth Candles products are ethically sourced, using natural ingredients and are completely nontoxic. Made Safe certified with natural ingredients, you can shop scents for every taste and season with total peace of mind, knowing these candles are made from pure essential oils and 100% natural beeswax. Gift these unforgettably delicious scents to make any home ready for the seasons.
Berkey Water Filters
Gifting the Berkey Water Filters for the holidays is a gesture that goes beyond the ordinary, offering the invaluable present of clean and pure water. This thoughtful gift signifies a commitment to ensuring access to safe and contaminant-free drinking water. Berkey filters are renowned for their effectiveness in removing a wide range of impurities, including bacteria, viruses, and harmful chemicals, providing peace of mind for those who prioritize health and hydration. Moreover, by choosing a Berkey water filter, you're encouraging sustainable living, as these filters reduce the need for single-use plastic bottles. This holiday season, give the gift of health, sustainability, and the assurance that the water we consume is of the highest quality.
Harvest & Mill
Harvest and Mill organic clothing cares about you, their workers, and the environment. Their clothes are made from organic cotton that is locally sourced and manufactured in the US. They use non-toxic dyes and fabrics that are free from formaldehyde, PFC or flame retardants, phthalates, heavy metals, chlorine bleach, VOCS or other dangerous substances commonly found in clothing. 100% of their clothing is free from toxins.
Emi's Garden
Emi’s Garden granola is a thoughtful and delicious way to share the joy of wholesome, nutritious eating with your loved ones. Emi's Garden granola is crafted with care, using high-quality, natural ingredients that not only taste delightful but also contribute to a healthy lifestyle. By choosing this granola as a gift, you're offering a flavorful experience that transcends the ordinary, with a blend of nuts, seeds, and grains that cater to both taste and nutrition. Whether enjoyed as a delicious breakfast or a satisfying snack, this gift embodies the spirit of good health, conscious living, and the simple pleasures of nourishing oneself with thoughtfully crafted, wholesome food.
Quince
I love Quince for many reasons, but mainly for their high quality yet very affordable cashmere sweaters that are soft, warm, and generous. Cashmere is my year-round fabric for sweaters, but most inexpensive kinds of cashmere are thin and cheaply made and wear out quickly. Quince uses the wool from cashmere goats to ethically create cashmere that is melt-in-your-hands soft, breathable, and long-lasting. Read more about their cashmere here. Quince also has bedding, jewelry and even suitcases.
Mate Factor
Mate Factor produces Yerba Mate: a great-tasting tea that has more antioxidants than green tea. It also can be very energizing for an afternoon pick-me-up, while being less stimulating to your nervous system than caffeine. Read more about the benefits of Yerba Mate here. Mate Factor is a small company in Asheville, NC that uses fresh, organic mate that does not have the bitter taste of many Yerba Mate products. My favorite is the Lemon Ginger and the Olive Leaf Mate. I mix the two in a large cup and sip on it in the afternoon.
Better Not Younger
You have to love the name of this company! Better Not Younger specializes in hair products for women over 50. Their products are defined to help women feel seen and celebrated for their unique beauty and wisdom no matter the stage of life that they're in. Their products are free from endocrine disruptors and SLS. I’ve tried almost all of their products and can’t decide which I love best.
Embrace the Gift of a Healthier You
